Happy Birthday Jake!!!!

On April 25, Team Till We Meet Again raised $1,814.00 to benefit the March of Dimes.  Our team consisted of almost 30 walkers and we honored all NILMDTS families and all of the sweet angels that were taken from us too soon.  I’d like to put a team together every year.  The names of our angels graced the backs of our shirts and the forefront of our hearts and thoughts – There was nothing but rain in the forcast, but the SON shined down on us and peeked through the clouds.  It was an emotional day.  It was a great day.  It was a day worthy of all of our angels.

Andrea is one of my oldest girlfriends – she was my first real friend upon moving to Cincinnati 24 years ago.  She’s such a warm loving person and will make an amazing momma!!!  I can’t wait to squish on her little bundle in a few weeks.  Love you Andy!!!

Meet Arieanah’s Momma.  In a few weeks, she will deliver a precious baby girl that will only spend a few minutes with her family before she earns her wings.  When we placed the blocks on Mom’s belly,  Arieanah kept kicking them – it was amazing!!   The love that Arieanah is showered with every day is evident in the tender tone that talks and sings to her, the gentle hands that stroke her and the wistful dreams of a mom that is placed in the heart breaking position of knowing that they will have so little time together.  In a few weeks, I will get to watch this precious child come into the world – I will capture images of the time that Arieanah gets to be with her mom and dad and then I’ll say a prayer  as this lamb moves on to her Heavenly home. 

oops – forgot to put on here that I received permission from the family to blog about this session – unless explicit permission is granted by the family, all sessions and details are kept 100% private. The family has the option to let us “share” their images to further the mission of NILMDTS. A separate permission is required for the photographer to use the images for any other purpose.

Soldiers.  Police Officers.  Fire Fighters.  Sixteen Year Olds??  — YES – they are all courageous!!  Meet Kirsten - she’s a 16 year old inspiration to all that know her – she’s kicking the snot out of cancer and is doing it with a smile.  The Collins family came in right before Kirsten started her chemo treatments.   She’s had ups and downs throughout the past several months – but continues to put others first.  I was soooo proud of her  when she walked in the March for Babies last month.  Putting others first – that’s what Kirsten has in common with those listed above.  Just thought of another trait that they all share – They are all Heroes!!!  Keep it up Kirsten!!!  We’re all pulling for you!!!
